Sosua is known for its beautiful beaches. The biggest
beach "Playa Sosua" is surrounded by palmtrees
and souvenirshops, bars and small restaurants behind.
Sunchairs and parasols are for rent.
La Playita-beach is smaller with on both sides rocks
and cocostrees. Although it is situated in front of
hotel Casa Marina, visitors are welcome. There are
some smaller, very quiet beaches with just a few sunchairs
and few facilities.
Nearby Sosua is the new opened "Columbus Aqua
Parque". Children and adults can enjoy themselves
in several swimmingpools, huge slides, bars and restaurants.
Sportsmen can go windsurfing, sailing, snorkling,
diving, horsebackriding, play tennis and golf. In
Playa Dorado there is a famous golfcourse designed
by Trent Jones.
